More than a photographer
Not just your photographer, but a little piece of your village!
I’m a Texas girl through and through, raised in a small town with a big family. Now I’m a mama to two sweet boys, and they’ve changed the way I see everything especially love, time, and how fast it all flies by. Being a stay-at-home mom gave me the space to not just fall in love with photography, but to really understand what it means to hold onto a moment.
Photos have always meant a lot to me. I grew up going through old family albums, flipping through memories from long before I was even born. There’s something about seeing the people you love frozen in time, laughing, hugging, just living, that reminds you how fast life moves. And now, I get to do that for other people. Somewhere along the way, capturing those real, everyday moments became more than just something I loved, it became something I couldn’t imagine not doing.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually spending time with my family. Between being a wife, a mama, and everything else life brings, I really value slowing down and enjoying quality time with the people I love. I absolutely love to cook, and cooking for the people around me is one of my favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I invite you over for a home-cooked meal. Having my friends and family around, good food on the table, and a reason to just sit, talk, laugh, and enjoy each other is honestly my favorite kind of time.
I’m a huge sports fan; football, volleyball, track and especially women’s basketball. I love a good show that gives me some drama, and my music taste is all over the place in the best way. So if I’m at your wedding, there’s a good chance you’ll find me somewhere dancing.
I tend to be a little reserved at first, but give me good conversation and genuine laughs and I promise it’ll be like we known each other forever.
